Purchasing Specialist
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Our client in Philadelphia is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role works closely with internal departments and external vendors to maintain inventory levels, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and process purchase orders
Source and evaluate vendors; negotiate pricing and terms
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams on invoicing and budgeting
Qualifications:
Prior experience in purchasing or procurement
Strong organizational and negotiation skills
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and attention to detail
