Purchasing Coordinator

Description

Assist Buyers in researching, evaluating, and selecting vendors and supplies based on pricing, quality, availability, and reliabilityIdentify and categorize customer orders that fall under the \"High Alert\" status based on predetermined criteria, such as urgency, customer importance, or specific requirements.Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure these orders receive immediate attention.Regularly update stakeholders, highlighting potential delays or opportunities.Work closely with sales, production, logistics, purchasing, and customer experience teams for seamless coordination.Communicate special requirements related to High Alert orders.Maintain open communication with Customer Experience Reps, providing updates on escalated challenges.Address concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.Vendor communicationLiaise with vendors to expedite procurement and on-time delivery for High Alert orders.Coordinate special arrangements for tight deadlines, delivery schedules, or specific customer needs.Ensure procurement documentation compliance with company policies.Generate regular reports summarizing High Alert order fulfillment performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of purchasing experienceProficient in MS ExcelFood & beverage background (preferred, not required)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
