Job Description
The Purchasing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assisting customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing comprehensive support. As the company's ambassador, you will be the initial point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the entire order-to-cash process. You will manage end-to-end customer order processing from purchase order receipt to product shipment while maintaining a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision-making.
ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound phone calls, chats, and customer support email requests.Resolve internal and external customer issues promptly and professionally.Provide answers to general technical product questions.Support the sales team with pricing and general product assistance.Coordinate product returns and repairs.Expedite shipments when necessary.Backup the International customer care team.Develop and recommend changes to increase the accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness of the customer service team.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in order entry and customer service.Experience in data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.Knowledge of ERP systems and SAP.Strong administrative support and process documentation skills.Ability to support sales and manage vendor relationships.Customer service-oriented approach.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have manufacturing/logistics experience.ERP knowledge is a plus.1+ year of customer support and email correspondence experience is required.Work Environment
This is an onsite position in a manufacturing environment.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
