Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistants to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our purchasing department by ensuring the smooth and efficient release of materials and purchase orders (POs) to buyers. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in data entry and Excel, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesAccurately input and manage large volumes of data, ensuring precision and attention to detail.Utilize Excel for data management, analysis, and reporting tasks. Create and maintain spreadsheets to track inventory, orders, and other relevant information.Efficiently release materials and POs to buyers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions and communications. Ensure documentation is easily accessible and comprehensible.Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication. Provide support and assistance as needed to achieve departmental goals.Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to data entry or PO processing. Proactively address challenges to maintain smooth operations.Essential SkillsProven experience in data entry and Excel.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a purchasing or administrative role is highly desirable.Previous experience in plumbing and heating is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
