**Aerotek is seeking a Purchaser:** **Job Description** The Purchaser is responsible for overseeing the procurement processes within an organization. This role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively to support business objectives. **Responsibilities** + Develop and implement purchasing strategies. + Manage and maintain strong vendor relationships. + Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms. + Oversee and guide purchasing staff. + Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. + Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards. + Source and assist with sending parts for repair or machining. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of experience in purchasing industrial products. + Experience in purchasing repair components. + Technical/mechanical aptitude with knowledge of different parts. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Data collection and analysis skills for tracking KPIs. + Understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes. + Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent industry experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in team management. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued.
