**Job Title: Punch Press Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to set up and operate punch presses to create shapes and holes in metal materials. The role involves working with pancake and some progressive dies, setting up punch presses based on routing report instructions, pulling tooling, preparing setup jobs, and reading blueprints. **Responsibilities** + Setup and operate punch presses efficiently. + Create shapes and holes in metal materials using punch presses. + Work with pancake and progressive dies. + Setup punch presses according to routing report instructions. + Pull tooling and prepare setup jobs. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Troubleshoot machinery as needed. + Ensure high-quality standards are met before products leave the facility. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and manufacturing, specifically in metal fabrication. + Ability to operate punch presses and read blueprints. + Proficiency in using tools like micrometers for quality inspection. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes, bill of materials, and cost estimation. + Understanding of GD&T, quality control, and quality assurance procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Windows, Word). + Strong shop math skills and good penmanship. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Excellent attendance and a long-term mentality. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-oriented team environment where 50% of your benefits are covered, enjoy monthly lunches, and take advantage of our 100% education coverage perk if you become a permanent employee. **Work Environment** Work in a dynamic machine shop where proper PPE is required in certain areas.
