We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic with an understanding of basic refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers, primarily focusing on pumps. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the operation of dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters, as well as possess knowledge of generators, power distribution, air conditioning systems, heaters, and shoring. An understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors is essential.
ResponsibilitiesService and repair pumps, focusing on maintaining optimal performance.Operate and maintain dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.Conduct repairs on generators, power distribution systems, A/C units, heaters, and shoring equipment.Understand and treat compressed air systems, including dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.Read and interpret electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.Possess a basic understanding of large engines from brands such as Perkins, Queen, CAT, and Cummings.
Essential SkillsExperience with pump maintenance and repair.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.Understanding of big engines, including Cummings, CAT, and Perkins.Proficiency in reading electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.Experience with compressed air treatment systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications2-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment or manufacturing machines.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Work Environment
The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm. Employees will meet at the hub in San Leandro before being deployed for service jobs throughout the Bay Area. While on contract, mileage will be reimbursed until transitioning to a direct role, at which point a company vehicle will be provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $39.00/hr.
