**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Mechanic to join our industrial manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of pumps used in turbine and pump manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant’s mechanical systems. **Key Responsibilities:** + Inspect, diagnose, and repair centrifugal, positive displacement, and specialty pumps used in industrial applications. + Perform routine and preventive maintenance on pump systems to minimize downtime. + Disassemble and reassemble pumps and related components for repair or replacement. + Align pumps and motors using precision tools and techniques. + Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. + Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. + Operate forklifts, hoists, and other equipment as needed for pump handling and installation. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in mechanical systems preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pump mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting. + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pump operation. + Ability to use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and alignment equipment. + Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and industrial safety practices. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or elevated areas. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with turbine systems or rotating equipment. + Certification in pump maintenance or mechanical repair. + Basic understanding of PLCs and automated control systems. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr. health care and bonus incentives **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Deerfield Beach,FL. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Sep 2, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
