Pump Mechanic
**Job Title: Pump Mechanic** **Job Description** The Pump Mechanic is responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of rotating equipment, primarily horizontal and vertical pumps. This role involves operating necessary tools for the disassembly and assembly processes and utilizing various measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) for equipment inspection. Additionally, you will operate an overhead crane within our shop. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild large pumps of all types. + Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and construct foundations for pump assembly and disassembly. + Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools. **Essential Skills** + Experience in assembly and mechanical assembly. + Proficiency with industrial pumps and pump assembly. + Capability to operate pneumatic tools and overhead cranes. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs. + At least 2 years of experience in pump building, repair, or mechanic work on industrial-sized pumps. + Proficiency in schematic and blueprint comprehension. + 2 years of experience with micrometers and calipers. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive compensation, opportunities for additional training, and a comprehensive benefits package.
