**Job Title: Welder**
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled welder to perform MIG, Pulse style Hardwire .045 welding on hard steel material. The position involves welding in a Heat Treat style environment, with material thickness ranging from 3/8" to 4". The role requires performing ultra-sonic welding, setting up, and laying out fixtures. Certification and training for welding components of concrete boom trucks will be provided. All welds are X-Rayed and certified, requiring high detail and precision.
Responsibilities
+ Perform MIG, Pulse style Hardwire .045 welding on heavy steel materials.
+ Execute ultra-sonic welding techniques for skilled welds.
+ Set up and layout fixtures for welding operations.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for accurate welding processes.
+ Ensure all welding work is X-Rayed and meets certification standards.
+ Participate in training and certification for welding concrete boom truck components.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in MIG welding on heavy gauge material.
+ Proficiency in Hardwire .045 Pulse style MIG welding.
+ 1+ year of experience in reading blueprints.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in structural steel fabrication and TIG welding is beneficial.

Work Environment
The work environment is laid-back yet team-oriented, requiring hard work and independence. The weld shop houses about 35 people, offering a clean and organized atmosphere. The shop is less loud and dusty compared to others. Work hours are 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with heavy overtime typically from 5am-3:30pm. The environment includes heavy cranes and large machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
