Position Summary

Direct, plan, and coordinate activities related to the production of company products. Establish production priorities that support efficient operations and cost control by applying knowledge of product technology, production methods, procedures, and equipment capabilities.

Essential Job Functions Ensure successful start‑up of new products, product improvements, cost‑reduction initiatives, and new or modified production lines through collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and manage the production schedule, ensuring timely delivery and effective follow‑up for all orders. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and output. Serve as the liaison between Sales and the Production facility to ensure orders are produced and delivered in a timely, cost‑effective manner. Maintain effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a safe, engaging, and productive work environment. Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Interface with multiple internal departments to ensure customer deadlines are consistently met. Supervise and train staff and production workforce in methods and procedures that maximize operational efficiency and equipment utilization. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of supervisory experience. Five years of production experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications Experience in SQF. Bilingual capability.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of Quality Standards, SSOPs, prerequisite programs, and HACCP. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure; meet deadlines; maintain a professional demeanor; work independently and within a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Environmental / Working Conditions Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shifts. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35°F and 95°F; may occasionally exceed 95°F.

Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions. Frequently required to walk and reach overhead. Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear. Required to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise levels range from normal office conditions to loud factory/warehouse environments.
