**Job Summary and Responsibilities** The incumbent develops, implements and monitors the Health, Safety and Security Programs that are designed to ensure a safe environment for all who enter Mercy General Hospital. The incumbent purpose is to minimize the impact of occupational injuries/illnesses, property damage and other operational errors associated with Environmental and Safety Management. The incumbent has the authority to take immediate action to protect the health, safety and security of patients, staff, physicians and visitors. **Job Requirements** Required + Bachelors in Healthcare Profession, Environmental Health, Applied Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering + 3 years of Health and Safety experience in a healthcare setting **Where You'll Work** Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento, Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313 bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved.
