A public health organization is seeking an experienced Public Health Nurse IV to provide tuberculosis (TB) nurse case management services. This role plays a vital part in coordinating patient care, ensuring compliance with treatment plans, and supporting community health outcomes through accurate reporting and collaboration.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive tuberculosis nurse case managementCoordinate services including transportation and medical eligibility assistanceComplete and submit required clinical and program reportsCollaborate with internal and external partners to ensure continuity of carePerform other duties as assigned to support public health operationsQualifications and Requirements:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferredCurrent and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of TexasMinimum of four years of experience as a practicing registered nurseMaster of Science in Nursing plus two years of general nursing experience, including one year of supervisory experience, may substitute for the required experienceValid Texas Driver’s License and compliance with AP 2-2 policyAbility to meet all Houston Health Department Temporary Employee vaccination requirementsYour New Organization:
