To drive Sanofi's public affairs agenda within South Cone with a primary focus on vaccines and immunization policy, while supporting broader biopharma initiatives. This position serves as the company's strategic voice in governmental and policy discussions related to National Immunization Programs (NIPs), vaccine access, and preventable disease control, while also supporting advocacy for innovative pharmaceutical treatments.
This position ensures Sanofi's position as a trusted public health and healthcare partner while supporting business growth objectives and enhancing the company's reputation in alignment with Sanofi's "Take the lead" strategy.
**Main Responsibilities**
+ Design and execute comprehensive public affairs strategies aligned with Sanofi’s corporate objectives and _Take the Lead_ strategy.
+ Build and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, policymakers, and key opinion leaders, with a focus on vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
+ Lead advocacy initiatives to support the inclusion and access of Sanofi vaccines in national immunization programs and schedules.
+ Monitor and analyze policy developments, vaccine coverage data, and epidemiological trends that may affect vaccine access and public health outcomes.
+ Advocate for expanded vaccine access, improved immunization coverage, and the removal of barriers across all age groups.
+ Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated policy and access strategies.
+ Represent Sanofi in industry associations, forums, and public events, managing public affairs initiatives with timely execution and measurable impact.
**A** **bout you**
+ Experience: 7+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry / vaccines; Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and market access pathways special focus on vaccines
+ Skills & Competencies: In-depth understanding of healthcare policy frameworks and decision-making processes; Understanding of patient advocacy landscape and stakeholder ecosystem; Strategic thinking and planning capabilities; Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building; Project management and organizational skills; Analytical skills to assess policy implications; Political acumen and diplomatic approach; Adaptability and resilience in changing environment; Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork; Ethical judgment and integrity; Results-oriented with ability to drive initiatives to completion; Cultural sensitivity and awareness; Proactive problem-solving approach
+ Education level/degree/certification: University Degree in Medical, Health Sciences, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or related field, preferably master's degree in public policies, Pharmacoeconomics, Healthcare Policy or Business Administration.
+ Language requirements: Fluency in Spanish and English
