Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of psychopharmacology, medication side effects, risks, and benefits. + Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for psychiatric illness. + Knowledge of how co-morbid conditions (medical and neurological conditions, substance + use, intellectual limitations) can affect psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. + Knowledge of the guidelines, rules, and regulations regarding prescribing practices. + Knowledge of federal, state laws governing psychiatric practice. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: As required by Wyoming State Licensing Board Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the Wyoming Board of Nursing. Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to bend, lift, twist, push, pull, etc., as would be expected to provide patient care and treatment in the clinic and hospital settings.
