Provider Relations Manager - Cigna Healthcare - KS, MO - Remote
**Due to the Book of Business, we are planning to hire from within one of the following METRO locations: St. Louis/Columbia, MO or Kansas City, KS.** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Accountable for the end-to-endprovider experienceand overall service deliveryfor assigned Book of Businessaligned to medium to low complex providers + Leads, collaborates, and supports local marketdirectionas it relates to improving theproviderexperience + Creates andmaintainsindividualproviderstrategicactionplans + Proactivelyidentifynew opportunities and risks forproviders at market or national level and drives resolution + Exercises good judgment and discretion to support theproviderexperience + Responsible for capturing, documenting, and sharing market intelligence; use market intelligence to develop and drivestrategicimprovements + External facing withproviders in assigned BOB + Collect, analyze, interpret,translateand distributeproviderinformatics, reports, dashboards + Track andmonitorperformance guarantees for assigned BOB + Promotes Provider Index score improvement through proactive and effective service and support of network + Reviewproviderreports/dashboard with individualproviders + Proactively educate providers onCigna's businessobjectives, standard operating procedures,policiesand programsto influence behavior and how to work with Cigna + Serve as a provider advocateboth internally and externally + Understands and applies service culture principles andmethodology + Servesas a provider advocate both internally and externally + Servesin a consultative role or subject matter expert to key matrix partners + Develops andparticipatesin presentations to existing and prospectiveproviders and/or clients + Serves as advocate in external community,representingCIGNA to medical societies and externalproviderassociations. + Manage joint operating committees, including agenda development,facilitatingappropriate meetingparticipation and follow up activities **QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required. + 5+ years of experience inproviderrelations and health care required. + Account management experience highly preferred. + Demonstrated excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills. + Experience with MS Office required (use of pivot tables/VLOOKUP in Excel is highly preferred). + Understanding of medical insurance products and associatedproviderissues highly preferred. + Ability to lead the account management teams and matrix partners to a common goal. + Ability to work in a matrix environment. + Up to 25% travel within the Metro KS (Kansas City) and Metro MO (St. Louis and Columbia) areas is required for the Book of Busines and to attend meetings. **CORE COMPETENCIES** + Organizational savvy + Plans and aligns + Collaborates + Communicates Effectively + Interpersonal Savvy + Tech Savvy + Being Resilient + Action oriented + Decision quality + Customer Focus + Builds Networks + Instills Trust If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 66,600 - 111,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
