Job Title: Prototype CNC Machinist

Job Description

Join our team as a Prototype CNC Machinist, where you'll play a critical role in setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills. You will collaborate with our customers to develop their latest products and ensure high-quality output.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machine equipment to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces.Inspect parts to ensure compliance with print specifications.Read blueprints and job orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.Observe machine operations and verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications.Operate machines and equipment other than machine tools.Complete in-process inspection sheets.Demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks.Contribute to building a positive team spirit.Read and interpret prints accurately.Understand GD&T and apply it effectively.Experience with hard turn machining and maintaining close tolerances +.0001.Essential Skills10+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.Firm understanding of GD&T.Ability to read blueprints and perform quality inspections.Proficiency in CNC setup and operation.Experience with calipers and micrometers.Additional Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail.Willingness to learn and train others.Experience in close-tolerance machining.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
