**Prototype Assembler 1st Shift**
The Prototype Assembler is responsible for building and assembling prototypes of new products, devices, and systems in accordance with detailed design specifications. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the capability to work with cross‑functional engineering teams to bring new concepts to life.
**General Responsibilities**
+ Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation to understand assembly requirements.
+ Assemble electronic, mechanical, structural, and other components to create fully functional prototypes.
+ Perform soldering of electronic components, wiring of circuits, and integration of electrical subsystems per specifications.
+ Conduct preliminary testing to ensure prototype functionality and performance meet design intent.
+ Adjust, refine, and modify prototypes based on testing outcomes, engineering feedback, and performance requirements.
+ Inspect components and assembled prototypes to verify accuracy, detect defects, and ensure adherence to specifications.
+ Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues encountered during assembly and testing.
+ Perform repairs, rework, and improvements to prototypes based on test results.
**Experience & Qualifications**
+ **Minimum of 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in prototype assembly, electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, or related technical roles.**
+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a **fast-paced, cross-functional team environment** .
+ Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ High level of personal accountability with a commitment to meeting goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
+ Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
