Property Tax Director Job ID 230875 Posted 24-Jul-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Valuations/Appraisal Location(s) Houston - Texas - United States of America **About The Role:** + As a CBRE Property Tax Director, you will lead a team responsible for providing property tax consulting services to clients. + This role is part of the Taxation function and requires expertise in property taxation, valuation, and consulting. **What You'll Do:** + Develop and implement property tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients + Lead a team of property tax professionals in providing consulting services to clients on property tax matters + Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in property taxation + Collaborate with clients to understand their property tax needs and develop customized solutions + Provide guidance and support to junior team members on property tax matters + Stay up-to-date on changes in property tax laws and regulations + Build and nurture connections with clients, collaborators, and industry partners + Analyze and interpret property tax data to identify trends and opportunities + Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with property tax laws and regulations + Provide expert testimony in property tax disputes and appeals + Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of property tax services + Develop and maintain understanding of property tax laws, regulations, and standard methodologies + Lead and participate in industry conferences and events to stay current on property tax trends and developments + Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent property tax services **What You'll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.
