The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor. In this position, _you will be responsible for assembling, converting, and updating CAD data for the internal and external web-based applications for the Office of Land Management. Additional responsibilities include performing comparative and detailed analysis between property records and digital files to accurately represent boundaries and right-of-way interests through research and standardized data; and supporting internal and external customers on their requests for information in the use of agency maps, data, services, and applications._ ** The Minnesota Department of Transportation does not sponsor applicants for work visas or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment. **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor’s or master’s in geography, geographic information systems (GIS), surveying, planning, or computer science, OR one year of professional statistics or data analysis experience, OR two years of technical experience that demonstrates: + Experience manipulating data within CAD software, and + Experience analyzing vector data. An associate’s degree in geography, geographic information systems (GIS), surveying, planning, or computer science may substitute for six months of professional statistics or data analysis experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience interpreting property or right-of-way legal descriptions. + Experience assembling and mapping property boundaries. + Experience providing technical support to ArcGIS or CAD software. **Additional Requirements** ** Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and criminal history check** It is our policy that all candidates submit to a background investigation prior to employment.
