Job Title: Property Associate (PM)Job Description

The Property Associate ensures organizational excellence by fulfilling administrative functions on the property team responsible for one or multiple buildings. This role involves providing accounting support and maintaining positive relations between tenants and clients, always ensuring superior customer service. The position is based on-site.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate document management related to lease execution, distribution, and filing.Monitor emails, phones, and work order systems regularly to provide prompt and courteous responses, directing correspondence to the appropriate personnel.Maintain general office organization.Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail, as well as prepare and send outgoing mail and packages.Prepare and distribute general correspondence and memos.Organize, compile, and prepare reports for distribution.Update employee, client, and customer contact databases.Coordinate conference room reservations.Assist the property team in developing and implementing property and employee manuals or contact information.Support engineers with recording and billing monthly utility meter readings and work orders via PRISM as appropriate.Assist with vendor contract creation, execution, and tracking as requested.Provide general and ad hoc administrative support to the property as needed.Perform any other duties and tasks assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma is required.Minimum of an Associate's Degree is preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial real estate, property team, or office management.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new programs and technology.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, interacting effectively with coworkers and internal clients at all levels and in multiple disciplines.Ability to calculate figures and percentages.Capable of developing effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles.Comfortable with change and uncertainty, able to shift gears and make decisions without having the complete picture.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssisting with marketing department or specialty licensing as needed and directed by the General Manager.Work Environment

The position requires regular sitting for long periods of time, frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. It involves reading video display terminals, order forms, and other written documents, lifting a minimum of thirty-five pounds, using and accessing stairwells during emergencies, using keyboards for typing and computer input, and hearing, speaking, and answering the office telephone system. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility for evenings and weekends driven by marketing event schedules. Free parking is provided onsite for employees. The interview process involves a first round virtual interview followed by a second round in-person interview.

This is a Contract position based out of Lynchburg, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
