We are seeking a Promo Producer & Editor to join the Bloomberg Television Promo Strategy team for a 6-month contract in New York. This role is for a creative powerhouse capable ofowning the entire lifecycle of a promo—from initial script to final motion graphics—to highlight our global newsroom’s key programming, events, and interviews.
We’ll trust you to: Concept, script and edit promos based on evolving news coverage and network priorities.Be proactive - pitch ideas, be creative, bring your expertise to the table and elevate our content.Collaborate with global editorial producers to translate news coverage into compelling promotional assets and elevate key programming.Manage end-to-end production workflows, ensuring seamless integration of video, audio and motion graphics.Partner with design team and animators to expand on existing brand elements to fit video promotional needsEnsure design standards and brand guidelines are followedBe a self-starter and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, to produce all elements of the campaignBe on top of industry trends in video, animation and promotional stylesWork well under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment, be able to pivot and react as news events evolve.Be highly motivated, accurate and detail oriented in your workWork with various programs throughout your shift including the Bloomberg Terminal, editing software, newsroom programs and distribution toolsUnderstanding and excitement for financial news, politics and general newsYou’ll need to have: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience5 years of on-air promotion, creative agency work, or news media experienceAdvance knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere and After EffectsAvailability to work onsite in our New York office 4–5 days per weekA strong reel or portfolio showcasing high-end promo work Salary Range = 50 - 55 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
