Project Technician
Project TechnicianPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Technician to support and coordinate a wide range of industrial and facility‑related projects. This role involves work across electrical and plumbing systems, operations and maintenance (O&M), decontamination, demolition, and general facility operations. The position requires strong coordination skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in line with client expectations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStaff coordination and scheduling, including oversight of direct reportsManage day‑to‑day project activities, including ordering equipment and materialsCoordinate subcontractors and develop detailed work plansEnsure safety compliance through proper documentation, procedures, and equipmentServe as a client liaison to maintain standards and identify additional support needsMaintain accurate project documentation and support overall workflowEssential Skills10+ years of project coordination experienceMEP, water/wastewater, facility operations, or machine guardingStrong leadership and mentoring abilitiesComfortable in client‑facing communicationExpertise in material coordination, subcontractor oversight, and logisticsStrong organizational and project management skillsExperience in facility or facility‑management environmentsAdditional QualificationsCollege degree preferred but not requiredHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to travel as needed for project supportJob Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plainville, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.25/hr.
