Position Summary:

 

In this role you will be liaising internally and externally with various stakeholders and working closely with CAD programs such as AutoCAD.

Role and Responsibilities:

 

Drawing setup, general drafting and formal issue of AV drawings, including but not limited to:

 

High-level system diagrams Detailed wiring diagrams and schematics of Audio-Visual systems Floor plan, elevation and section drawings of Audio-Visual equipment and components Equipment Rack diagrams Fabrication drawings of custom wall plates, patch panels and equipment mounting brackets for in-house and external manufacturing

 

Make changes to construction drawings and update drawings from site mark-ups Document management for system drawings and project correspondence Assist in creating and maintaining equipment and cable schedules Assist in creating and maintaining in-house library of AutoCAD blocks and symbols Attend monthly engineering meetings Foster and promote the company, product, and brand in the market Promote and live the Company Mission, Vision and Values Comply with Company policies and procedures, including the completion of documents and records Promote and work with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform quality standards in all areas of the business Other duties as required

 

 

Qualifications & Education Requirements

 

Required: 

 

Diversified online modules regarding WHSEQ and Environment Degree qualified in ICT/AV, Engineering and/or Design discipline

 

 

Desirable:

       

AMX Trained BIAMP Trained Cisco Trained Crestron Trained Extron Trained Infocomm/AVIXA Trained Polycom Trained REVIT Trained AutoCAD Trained MS Suite Trained

 

Skills & Experience Requirements

 

Intermediate to advanced CAD software and 2 or more years Design/Drafting experience Strong knowledge for Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-driven with good time management and prioritising skills Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff Strong Team player Familiarity with building codes, regulations and design standards would be an advantage
