Summary: Manages all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining accuracy of record keeping, safety requirements, and being mindful of budget constraints, and workforce needs.

Constant direct communication with assigned Project ManagerDirect report to General SuperintendentWorks with General Superintendent to ensure all assigned jobs are staffed with appropriate leadership and qualified employeesAttends at least one job site daily safety and job task assignment meetings that is conducted by job site leadershipReviews daily job site equipment inspection sheets and TSA’sSchedules and coordinates job site based equipment PM’s and R&M with the Operations teamEnsures Cherokee Operations team is made aware of any material / equipment needsRequests internal and external equipment rentalsRequests PO’s for any materials neededCoordinates all deliveries of materials and equipment to assigned job sitesReacts to all unexpected schedule changes and “emergency” situationsEnsures all weekend staffing, material and equipment needs are communicated and executed.Works with the General Superintendent to complete annual employee reviewsWorks with the General Superintendent to identify developmental opportunities for all field employeesMentors / coaches assigned job site leadership
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, though management of projects includes directing project related activities of the project team members.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Five years field construction andAt least two years of previous experience in job oversite and/or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
