Job Title: Project Specialist - Compensation DataJob Description

This role is responsible for the end-to-end data operations that power our variable compensation programs, including Monthly Commissions, Quarterly Individual Bonuses, and Quarterly Team Bonuses. The Project Specialist will manage the transition and ongoing maintenance of our variable compensation data pipeline from existing source systems, such as Sales and HR, into a new incentive compensation management tool. Additionally, this role will function as the technical and functional administrator for Performio, handling data uploads, troubleshooting issues, maintaining backend configurations, and providing timely support to stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesDownload data from multiple sources, assemble in Excel using PowerQuery, and perform data quality checks.Upload data into the client's website tool.Enter data adjustments in the backend of the website based on manager emails.Export, review data quality, and submit to stakeholder teams, such as Payroll.Serve as the main communication point for managers, ensuring requests are accurately entered into the website tool.Distribute communication to all stakeholders, encompassing a few hundred recipients.Track progress against a predetermined calendar, initiating cyclical payment processes each month and quarter, while managing independent timelines.Organize documentation of all processes to ensure all systems are using the most up-to-date Incentive Agreements.Essential SkillsStrong project management skills.High proficiency in SQL is highly preferred.Familiarity with SQL and Python is beneficial, as acquiring these skills implies a lot of necessary knowledge.Experience with Excel, particularly XLOOKUP or INDEX MATCH functions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Snowflake is a plus but not required.Excel skills have a wide range in the market and are considered easy to teach if lacking.Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Monica, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
