We are seeking a dedicated Project Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role serves as a vital link between customers and the interconnection engineering team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processes. You will play a crucial role in managing solar interconnection requests, collaborating with engineers, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesServe as a liaison between customers and the interconnection engineering team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.Manage and respond to solar interconnection requests via Power Clerk.Collaborate with engineers to resolve customer utility needs and ensure smooth interconnection processes.Address and resolve basic customer inquiries related to grid interconnection and common utility concerns.Track project milestones and maintain documentation to support team efficiency and customer satisfaction.Assist in identifying process improvements and support implementation of best practices.Essential SkillsProject management experience.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma required; associate degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field preferred.Project tracking tool experience is a plus (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project).Applicable experience within the energy, utilities, or solar industry is beneficial.Work Environment

The position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with an office located at 1230 West Morris Street. The role requires working in the office four days per week, with flexibility for remote work on Fridays after training and demonstrating a thorough grasp of the role. You will gain valuable experience and exposure within a leading energy company committed to clean, renewable energy.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
