Job Description

This role focuses on launching products such as video doorbells, cameras, and sensors, while crafting narratives that highlight the innovative aspects of these offerings. The position requires building PR plans for consumer products, working with reporters, driving a product reviews program, and writing press releases and blog posts. The role is integral to telling the innovation story of our products and making neighborhoods safer.

Responsibilities

Devise and lead the PR strategy for product and service launches, including those focused on AI.Support the development of narratives and campaigns.Develop storytelling opportunities that align with the product's innovative features.Partner with marketing and go-to-market teams to ensure flawless product launches.Collaborate with various PR partners, including analyst relations and consumer campaigns, for key industry moments.Work with product teams to support launches.Provide communications counsel to business executives on both short-term and long-term challenges and opportunities.

Essential Skills

Strong public relations skills with a focus on consumer technology.Excellent writing skills for crafting press releases, FAQs, and pitches.Experience in tech and consumer tech PR.Proficiency in developing AI narratives and launching AI-powered products and services.Experience in PR product launch strategy, including drafting announcement strategies and building media lists.Comfortable with media relations and engaging with reporters to land stories.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in driving PR product launch strategies for consumer technology products and services.Ability to communicate complex technical details in an understandable and compelling manner.Experience in maintaining momentum between launch events by driving key narratives without hard news.

This position requires working on-site five days a week in Hawthorn, with a standard 40-hour work schedule. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $68.00/hr.
