The Project Manager, Workforce Management is responsible for driving operational efficiency and enabling sales growth through Workforce Management fundamentals, tools and processes. Based on observations and feedback from Field Leadership and cross-functional partners, this role will evaluate and recommend improvements and innovative ideas that align with company strategies. The Project Manager will take concepts from the ideation phase and see them through to solution delivery. Understanding that speed is an asset, solutions should be customer-focused and team-oriented.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for execution of primary work streams: Owns development of work plan, timeline, communication and gaining leadership alignment.
• Subject matter expert in Workforce Management and web-based labor application fundamentals. Supports schedule reviews, store communication, Field education, etc.
• Support Workforce Management team with labor/scheduling initiatives and projects. Facilitate cross-functional project and initiative alignment meetings.
• Collaborate with cross functional partners (Finance, Real Estate, etc.) to align staffing with labor strategy, budget, business trends, store complements and current HR and Compliance guidelines.
• Work cross-functionally to develop, gain support, implement and evaluate store labor models and payroll testing. Ability to analyze results and apply learnings.
• Work cross-functionally to implement, administer and test configuration and field usability of labor optimizing solutions.
• Support talent and staffing strategy for Fall, Spring and Peak volume days (e.g. Holiday).
• Support Workforce Management field requests and issue resolution.
• Provide field leaders with tools and processes to assess/determine staffing numbers to support their region, district or store.
• Support Employment Compliance for BBW, providing input, feedback and communication.
• Evaluate, implement and train field leadership on Workforce Management tools and principles.
• Suggest, gain support, and implement ongoing enhancements in the labor-scheduling application with cross-functional and cross-brand partners.
• Coordinates field leader communication in partnership with field planning and communication team
• 3+ years of Project Management experience preferred.
• 5+ years retail/in-store experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Workforce Management web-based labor optimizing solutions.
• Knowledge of store business and system processes, sales forecasting, and workload forecasting methodologies.
• Ability to elicit feedback from others.
• Ability to analyze, diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to deliver work under tight timelines and understand speed of work is critical to success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow up and communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrates excellent time management, organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays for store visits.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
