Project Manager (Small Works) Job ID 226789 Posted 22-Jul-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Project Management Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland **About the Role & Position Purpose:** This role has CBRE title of “Project Management Manager”, however as the role is on-account, you will reporting into the Project Management Director and be responsible for the management & delivery of all Small Works across our client's sites in London, from initiation through completion. Your client-side role title is “Small Works Project Manager”. Reports To: Project Management Director Location: London, 3 days per week minimum in client office. Some out of hours working may infrequently be required **What You’ll Do:** + Manage and supervise small works projects within the portfolio including planned maintenance reactive tasks. The delivery of service excellence. Ensure structures support peaks and troughs in workload. + Oversee all phases of project management including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, etc. + Ensure that contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant. + Work cross-functionally with other business lines to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. + Identify small to medium project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. + Management of CBRE engineers / 3rd party sub-contractors / vendors ensuring all work has been completed to a satisfactory standard and post holders are fully competent and that effective project planning arrangements are in place. + Day to day supervision of the onsite sub-contractors including technical support. + Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met. + Update of engineering life cycle report. + Management of works to the clients approval process. Management of the teams in accordance with CBRE’s Procedures and Policies for Small Works and Reactive tasks. + Management controls implemented to the Permit to Work systems including authorisation to work, and in process checks are undertaken. Ensure correct isolations are in place. + To monitor and update Statutory and Non-Statutory Compliance records and documentation, being responsible for all QHSE Logbooks in the portfolio. Responsible for Small Works / Reactives / Compliance / QHSE Logbooks at Multi-client locations. + Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required, for both CBRE and supplier partners. + Managing CBRE CDM documentation. + Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times. + Ensuring a customer focuses within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts. **What You’ll Need:** + [Most essential] Positive / proactive outlook, self-motivated and systematic + [Essential] 5+ years experience in a similar role.
