Project Manager - SC Maintenance
Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee operations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives within our distribution center. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in managing large-scale logistics, warehouse operations, and cross-functional projects to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Responsibilities · Lead and manage distribution center projects, including expansions, process optimizations, and technology implementations. · Oversee end-to-end project planning, budgeting, and execution to meet deadlines and business objectives. · Collaborate with warehouse operations, supply chain, IT, and senior leadership to drive improvements in logistics and inventory management. · Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. · Manage project teams, assign tasks, and ensure accountability for deliverables. · Implement best practices in warehouse layout, automation, and labor management. · Develop risk management strategies to mitigate operational disruptions. · Communicate project progress, roadblocks, and success metrics to stakeholders. · Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the distribution center. · Perform other duties as assigned. Hours usually include weekends, evenings, and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations. · Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Foot Locker - Internal Use Only · While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. · Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders, and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly, 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed. · Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed. · Must be comfortable ambulating 30-40 feet in the air. · Must be able to comfortably fit and work in a fall protection harness. · Based on business necessity team members may be required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). · 5+ years of project management experience in a distribution center, logistics, or supply chain environment. · Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and automation technologies. · Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders. · Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. · PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus. · Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing cross-functional teams. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and data analytics software. Benefits The annual base salary range is $65,000 - $75,000/year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
