We're growing rapidly and are looking for a project manager experienced with mergers and acquisitions. This role requires someone with experience supporting complex, multi-workstream integrations in regulated environments. Proven ability to manage large integration budgets, drive disciplined governance (RAID, cadence, executive reporting), and coordinate cross-functional teams across simultaneous initiatives. A trusted partner to mid-level and executive stakeholders during high-pressure, time-bound integrations.
This is a hybrid role which requires someone local to Chicago.

• Program foundation support and coordination
• Coordination with acquired entity contacts and workstream leads on deal-specific roadmaps
• Design and delivery of project templates tailored to this IMO deal program
• Consolidated reporting across the BTO M&A portfolio and for senior leadership (e.g., CIO, Vice Presidents)
• Assist with the development and enhancement of M&A business processes, templates, and user guides, and support the rollout of tools and processes, including the facilitation of user training
• Facilitation of cross-functional and leadership meetings to mitigate risks
• Integration of financial and PPM data into the developed models
• Collaborative ideation on metrics and reporting needs with delivery teams
• Support of acquisition-related tasks such as equipment ordering, funding tracking, installation coordination, and related activities
• Application inventory analysis and rationalization for integration efforts
• Management of onboarding tasks and integration activities
• Modification and standardization of scorecards and templates per workstream needs
• Establishment of reporting cadences and meeting schedules for sponsor groups
• Creation and enhancement of user guides for scorecards and templates
• Reconciliation of integration cost centers across related projects and programs across the entire BTO M&A portfolio
• Monitoring of PPM milestones, risks, and key metrics
• Support for weekly and monthly meeting cadence and coordination
• Data collection and validation
• Regular updates and read-outs of metrics
• Delivery methodology recommendations (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) where applicable
• General support activities like collaboration with business teams and management of business metrics, OKRs, reviews, etc.
• 7+ years of project management experience
• 2+ years of merger & acquisition experience
• Day-to-day coordination across workstreams, timeline tracking, dependency management
• Experienced in financial oversight activities like budget tracking, variance reporting, and forecast analysis
• Ability to take goals/projects from scratch and lead it
• Manage teams calendar
• AI experience with the ability to create agents
• Strong communication, organization, analytics and problem-solving skills
• Leadership presence
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $173,500.00.
