Job Title: M&A Project Manager – Applications
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension up to 24 months)

**Role Overview:**
+ Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced M&A Project Manager (Applications) to support its Mergers & Acquisitions IT team. This role will focus on application identification, dispositioning, separation planning, and TSA exit activities across M&A initiatives.
+ The Project Manager will work closely with application owners, IT deal team leads, business stakeholders, and procurement teams to ensure successful Day 1 readiness and post-close application separation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Engage with application and service owners to define Day 1 separation approaches and plans
+ Manage, update, and maintain weekly application status reports as directed by Johnson Controls
+ Support creation and maintenance of the Application Data Book, validating accuracy and completeness with functional and business leaders
+ Identify TSA (Transition Services Agreement) dispositions and collaborate with IT Procurement to ensure TSA rights are secured
+ Manage and support Day 1 separation projects and post-separation activities
+ Understand and support IT TSA terms, conditions, and post-close governance related to application separation
+ Lead and manage TSA Exit projects to ensure timely and successful exit
+ Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings, including status reviews and project checkpoints
+ Collaborate closely with Application Tower Project Managers, Business Analysts, and IT Deal Team Leads
**Required Skills & Experience:**
+ Strong experience in M&A IT projects, specifically application separation and transition
+ Familiarity with various application technologies and enterprise application landscapes
+ Experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
+ Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under aggressive timelines
+ Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
+ Self-motivated and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
