Offshore Delivery Lead (AI/ML)

Role Overview

The Offshore Delivery Lead is responsible for managing and delivering global AI/ML projects by coordinating cross‑functional teams across onsite and offshore locations. This role demands complete ownership of end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring that all initiatives are executed successfully in alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage global delivery of AI/ML projects across multiple geographies. Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams, predominantly based in India. Oversee project management activities including planning, estimation, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Manage resources across multiple Scrum teams, ensuring optimal utilization. Facilitate and govern Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives). Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and organizational leadership. Ensure timely delivery while maintaining scope, quality, and budget constraints. Identify delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Support AI/ML development initiatives through strong technical understanding and guidance. Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and team performance.

 

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in offshore delivery management for global projects. Solid background in AI/ML development (hands‑on or strong technical understanding). Proven ability to manage multiple Scrum/Agile teams. Expertise in project planning, estimation, scheduling, and tracking. Experience working with cross‑cultural and geographically distributed teams. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices. Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on problem solving.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering enterprise‑scale AI/ML solutions. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI/ML workloads. Familiarity with MLOps practices and tooling. Prior experience operating in onsite‑offshore delivery models. Leadership experience in mentoring and scaling technical teams.
