Project Manager II

**CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager II position for our client.**
**Location:** Richland, WA
**Duration:** 12 months
**Duties:**
+ Provide full lifecycle project management for complex, large-scale, multi-discipline projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
+ Lead cross-functional project teams (typically 10+ internal and external resources) to deliver work safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
+ Develop and manage detailed project plans, work packages, resource loading, and long-range planning strategies.
+ Establish project priorities, manage risks, resolve schedule conflicts, and address issues impacting scope, cost, or timeline.
+ Develop and manage project budgets, track costs versus plan, and oversee funding, invoicing, and contract compliance.
+ Create and maintain project schedules aligned with project complexity; manage critical path, float, and progress reporting.
+ Manage procurement activities and develop, administer, and monitor vendor and contractor agreements.
+ Coordinate closely with clients, engineering teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure alignment and project transparency.
+ Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, status reports, and written communications.
+ Mentor junior project managers and project team members, promoting best practices in project management.
+ Oversee engineering and design activities from concept through implementation, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
**Skills:**
+ Expertise in managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder projects and programs.
+ Advanced knowledge of project controls including scope management, cost control, schedule management, and risk mitigation.
+ Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Experience preparing and presenting materials for executive leadership, steering committees, or boards.
+ High proficiency in managing design engineering activities and coordinating with architectural/engineering firms.
+ Strong understanding of contract management, procurement strategies, and vendor negotiations.
+ Knowledge of managing scope changes and preventing scope creep.
+ Familiarity with long-lead equipment planning and material management.
+ Proficiency with project and business software tools such as Microsoft Office and project management systems.
+ Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
**Experience:**
+ Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) required.
+ Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex, multidisciplinary projects.
+ Preferred experience managing engineering design through implementation.
+ Preferred experience in power generation, utilities, industrial, oil & gas, nuclear, or other large infrastructure environments.
+ Advanced degree in a related field or business preferred and may substitute for two years of experience.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years of experience in a technical field; OR
+ Associate degree and sixteen (16) years of experience in a technical field; OR
+ High School Diploma/GED and eighteen (18) years of experience in a technical field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $64.00 to $97.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
