Joining an amazing Team at a multi-national Manufacturing Site for the Philadelphia cream cheese based in Suttontown (Mount Gambier), known for its picturesque limestone, volcanic landscape and crater lakes. Reporting to the Plant Lead, this role will see you plan, develop, and execute capital projects by leading technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital project execution to support growth and world-class manufacturing. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure adherence to Mondelēz standards in execution.
This position will suit a proactive and strategic professional with a strong background in process engineering, looking to further develop their skills in project management at our iconic Philadelphia site in Mount Gambier.
How you will contribute
Working within the Site Leadership team and with key stakeholders, you deliver the capital and technical agenda of all projects so that accurate budgets, timelines plans, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided.Accountable for the quality and the results of capital projects ensuring they meet all Mondelēz standards, while providing adequate resourcing, people development needs and within budget.You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and lead/support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimise resources, harmonise assets and rollout best practices.What you will bring

An engineering degree recognised by the Engineers Australia Institute is required to be considered for this position; chemical/mechanical/electrical.Proven experience in project management methodology.Having technical knowledge in dairy/food manufacturing, is highly advantageous.Experience in food processing, automation and packaging systems such as; Batch preparation and processing and Automation solutions experience including AGV systems, SCADA & instrumentationsStrong conceptual and analytic skills – enjoys problem-solvingExcellent communication skills and ability to drive effective discussions with project resources across the businessExcellent project planning and proactiveness in identifying risks and mitigations and managing strict timelinesStrong focus on cost, schedule, and quality of project delivery.Proven ability to build effective teams across internal and external partnersAbility to identify cost-effective, high savings productivity solutions and develop projects to improve performance, product quality, safety, sustainability, yield and manufacturing cycle times.No Relocation support availableBusiness Unit Summary
