As an Associate (601) within the Business Management – Programs team, you will provide advanced project support to large-scale programs and independently manage smaller projects that contribute to business objectives. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Management, you will work closely with VPs and other senior leaders, leveraging your project management experience to drive execution, resolve issues, and deliver results. This role is suited for professionals with a track record of managing smaller projects and a commitment to advancing their project management expertise, including obtaining a PMP certification if not already held. The Associate is expected to work with a high degree of independence, proactively identifying and driving initiatives to completion.
Job Responsibilities
Provide advanced support to major programs, including project planning, coordination, and execution.Independently manage smaller projects or complex workstreams, from initiation through completion, with limited oversight.Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, timelines, risk logs, and status reports.Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and document user stories to inform project solutions.Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and measure project outcomes.Identify, track, and escalate project risks and issues; drive resolution in partnership with stakeholders.Lead or coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and post-launch activities for assigned projects.Contribute to process improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives.Prepare and deliver clear project updates and presentations to stakeholders and management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, and technology groups to achieve project goals.Demonstrate initiative and ownership by proactively identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving projects forward independently.Commitment to Professional Development: If not already held, actively work towards obtaining a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Required skills, qualifications and capabilities
College or university degree required.3–5 years of experience in project management or related roles, with a proven track record of independently managing smaller projects or significant workstreams.Experience supporting large-scale programs and collaborating with senior stakeholders.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with limited oversight.High degree of initiative, ownership, and accountability.Commitment to pursuing a PMP certification if not already obtained.
