Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to provide exceptional leadership in project management, coordination of tasks and activities, and communication with various stakeholders. The role involves leading the full lifecycle of acquisition and software development programs from systems engineering and requirements definition through delivery, fielding, and sustainment. You will participate in technical discussions and reviews, providing project status, risk insights, and strategic metrics to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

Coordinate tasks and activities related to project management.Attend test events and coordinate visits and briefings.Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress.Lead the full lifecycle of acquisition and software development programs.Engage in technical discussions and reviews with the team and government customers.Communicate with management, customers, suppliers, and quality divisions.Assist analytical/technical and engineering personnel with investigations and evaluations.Track project metrics using Microsoft Excel and MS Project.

Essential Skills

Program management experience in the aerospace and defense industry.Experience with RFP and contracts management.PMP certification.Mechanical engineering knowledge.Experience with Department of Defense or Aerospace projects.Knowledge of Army contracts and requirements.Secret clearance.Proficient in MS Project and MS Office software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Engineering Degree (BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or Business or Computer Science Degree with relevant DoD experience.Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management of technical development programs for DOD projects.Knowledge of DOD programs such as Ammunitions, Munitions, Weapons Systems.Ability to read and interpret drawings & GD&T.Ability to communicate effectively, pay attention to detail, and work as part of a team.Guide activities of less experienced personnel.Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Morris Plains, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
