Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Support the DC Courts Project, ensuring that all contract expectations are met and deliverables are achieved effectively.

ResponsibilitiesAlways present oneself professionally in attire and demeanor during site visits or remote meetings.Represent the client in alignment with contract expectations, understanding the critical nature of owner tasks and deliverables.Manage assignments timely, lead project teams, and ensure accountability.Report critical issues to the Project Manager and key team members.Participate in meetings, support note-taking, and collaborate on agendas and feedback.Review third-party meeting minutes for accuracy and discuss discrepancies with the Project Manager.Draft weekly reports using templates for Project Manager review and Construction Management Lead submission.Maintain document control standards, including naming conventions and uploads to Microsoft Teams and DC Courts Procore.Review RFIs and Submittals for SOP compliance and readiness for Project Manager review.Update tracking logs and spreadsheets daily, ensuring data accuracy and SOP compliance.Track modification packages, review purchase orders and signatures, and report issues to the Project Manager.Assist in formatting submission documents and updating logs and forms.Ensure Procore compliance by all contractors for timely and proper uploads.Draft formal notices (e.g., Notices of Concern, Default) for Project Manager review using correct templates.Update project templates and reports with current contract data (e.g., extensions, cost changes).Draft change management documents (e.g., Letter Directives, Notices to Proceed) for Project Manager finalization.Format and track all official correspondence with DC Courts.Coordinate with Construction Management Controller on schedule reviews and alerts for updates or payment applications.Review 3-week look-ahead schedules for formatting and progress tracking.Upload Construction Management Controller schedule reviews to the appropriate Teams folder for company documentation.Monitor Period of Performance logs for relevant government contracts.Participate in pencil copy walkthroughs and invoice reviews with the Project Manager.Take notes during Schedule of Values reviews and ensure distribution to Project Manager and contractors.Schedule and manage invoice-related meetings, including substantial and final completion reviews.Support validation of labor interviews for Davis Bacon compliance.Understand project scopes and responsibilities; interpret drawings to prevent scope creep.Have foundational knowledge of construction methods to assess constructability.Review QA daily reports for compliance and coordination with contractor reports.Maintain the QA bulletin board and ensure closure of open items per SOP.Essential SkillsProject managementConstruction managementRFIAssociate's Degree in Construction Management or related field10+ years of relevant construction management experienceExperience on $50 Million projectsStrong knowledge & experience in Microsoft Suite, Change order, Construction, federal construction, EstimationAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to communicate well with the government and General ContractorsProficiency in running meetings when neededProcore experience is preferredWork Environment

The position requires working onsite at DC Courts five days a week. The company is recognized as the largest Federal Construction Management firm in the country, with a strong presence in the DC market.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
