Project Manager – Facilities & Construction

Contract (6–12 months) | Potential Conversion to FTE

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction- and facilities-related projects across multiple sites in Southern California. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on managing building, infrastructure, and facilities initiatives from planning through execution. The Project Manager will partner closely with Facilities, Engineering, IT, Safety, and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

This role is ideal for a proactive PM who can hit the ground running, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and operate comfortably in dynamic, operational environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead construction and facilities projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budgetManage projects related to buildings, infrastructure, cabling, and equipmentServe as a boots-on-the-ground Project Manager, coordinating day-to-day execution with contractors, vendors, and internal teamsSupport projects across multiple sites, including:1.2M sq. ft. manufacturing facilityLarge laboratory and engineering spacesNewly secured office buildingTwo airport-based operational locationsSupport a $13M airport runway refurbishment project and additional capital improvement initiativesCoordinate with landlords and vendors on office build-outs (e.g., painting, furniture, infrastructure upgrades)Partner with internal stakeholders on office relocations and site transitions at project completionDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, timelines, and resource plansIdentify risks, manage dependencies, and drive mitigation plansProvide clear status updates and reporting to leadership and stakeholders

This is a Contract position based out of Poway, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110.00 - $115.00/hr.
