Project Manager Job ID 258843 Posted 30-Jan-2026 Service line PJM Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Construction, Project Management Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland **Role Overview** The purpose of the role is to take full responsibility for generating and delivering a wide range of project work across our clients' real estate portfolio. This includes managing projects from inception through to completion, as well as taking ownership of projects mid-stream or on behalf of others when required, with full accountability for both management and delivery. The role also involves leading and developing pre-construction activities, including project scoping, tender processes, and cost planning, undertaken both independently and on behalf of others. Projects covered by this role range from Small Works to migration activities, including MAC planning and broader transformation initiatives **Roles & Responsibilities** + Serve as the client's primary point of contact, providing consistent, proactive, and transparent communication across all project stakeholders, including leadership, consultants, contractors, and vendors. + Lead projects from early planning through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are clearly defined, actively managed, and achieved. + Anticipate risks and issues before they escalate; develop thoughtful mitigation strategies and clearly communicate options, impacts, and recommendations. + Maintain a highly organised project environment, including schedules, budgets, reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and decision trackers. + Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a willingness to step in and take on tasks as needed to keep projects moving forward. + Build, support, and contribute to a collaborative project team culture that values trust, accountability, and shared success. + Effectively manage up by providing leadership with concise, accurate, and timely information to support informed decision-making. + Coordinate and oversee consultants, contractors, and service providers to ensure alignment with project goals, standards, and contractual requirements. + Monitor construction progress through site visits, field observations, and regular reporting; address issues promptly and follow through to resolution. + Support procurement, contract administration, change management, and project closeout activities. + Travel to project sites as required to support active construction, stakeholder meetings, and key milestones. **Key Competencies** What Good Looks Like Proactive Communication + Communicates early, clearly, and consistently—no surprises. + Tailors messaging to field teams, clients, and executive leadership. + Flags risks and decisions with recommended paths forward.
