A full-service architecture and interior design firm located in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Project Manager to their team!
Job Description:
Reviews Construction Documents for accuracy and ensures quality by marking corrections / red lines in preparation for review, bidding, permitting and constructionPerforms code research to ensure that all necessary codes are applied to design solutions and construction documentationManages the permitting process in its entiretyManges coordination of projects with all outside project consultants and vendorsManages and performs site observations and prepares site visit reportsManages the Construction Administration phase including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, participating in OAC callsWrites reports and memos to consultants and vendors to issue changes and track resolutionsActively participates in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to scheduleSets project priorities and assigns tasksOversees and works collaboratively, offering technical expertise and guidanceAssists with mentoring, training, and coordinating the work of teammatesEnsures that design and QC reviews occur at the designated stages of projectsParticipates in client relationship meetings alongside the Team LeadParticipates in monthly billing alongside the Team LeadQualifications:
Bachelor or Master's of Architecture4+ years of experience in an applicable role, requiring documentation, project management, and people management supportAbility to produce construction documents in Revit and AutoCADPrior experience supporting SD, DD, and CD phasesPrior experience leading construction administrationPrior experience working on retail/restaurant projects Ability to maintain and achieve quick project turnaround timesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.69 - $37.50/hr.
