**WHT YOU WILL DO**
As a Project Manager, you’ll involves to effectively own projects to ensure successful and timely outcomes. You’ll take the ownership for planning, leadership, organizing and motivating project teams. You will also be involved in the management of all the project scope, quality, timeframes and be responsible for ensuring a high level of performance by the team, with quality and timeframe objectives met.
To break it down, your responsibilities will include:
**Project Management**
• Prepare project plans based on product owner requirements, covering scope, budget, and quality.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality; communicate risks early and take action.
• Facilitate agile activities: stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Remove impediments to keep the project team on track.
• Identify and manage dependencies across the project teams.
• Facilitate work completion without assigning or dictating tasks.
• Promote constructive discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodology and improve processes continuously.
• Manage risks and issues, escalating and adjusting plans accordingly in order to ensure realistic timeframes and forecasts.
• Manage and incorporate specific client Project methodology
**Communication management**
• Identify stakeholders and create targeted communication plans.
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders
• Deliver key messages proactively to the right audience on time.
• Maintain continuous, high-quality communication across projects.
• Keep the team well-informed with effective communication.
**Leadership and people management**
• Provides leadership for a multidisciplinary project team across (MBWG)
• Assess work accurately and provide timely feedback.
• Empower team members to stay engaged and contribute meaningfully.
• Demonstrate strong leadership to guide the project team effectively. Administration Management
• Ensure high-quality, accurate project documentation.
• Track and report on project progress include realistic forecasts of final positions
• Use of tools for tracking project and progress.
• Close all project documentation and archives records appropriately
• Document and track all changes, delays, claims etc
• Establish administration and reporting guidelines on all projects.

To be successful in this role, YOU will bring:
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle models.
• Knowledge of agile and traditional project management, with the ability to blend both.
• Commercial mindset and focus.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams including Developers, Architects, Business Analysts and QA across geographical locations.
• Sufficient technical background to lead development teams credibly.
• Skill in evaluating complex project risks and issues.
• Strong analytical, planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage competing demands.
• Deep understanding of business and customer needs to build trust.
• Proven ability to work with geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams.
• Experience with complex integration projects, ideally in system integration.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
• Domain knowledge in software, computer science, or IT
• Experience in the retail oil (payments or POS systems) sectors.
• Experience in deploying solutions/mass rollouts.
