ResponsibilitiesDeliver projects by successfully managing and leading them from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering individuals to achieve their best performance.Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.Track project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, and provide accurate cost forecasts.Implement robust quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards and client expectations.Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement innovative project management practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.Proficiency in project management software.Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Additional Skills & QualificationsProfessional certification in project management (PMP).Experience working in a global and matrixed organization.Knowledge of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.Familiarity with digital tools and technologies in project management.Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.Work Environment

The position offers a flexible work environment with opportunities for both local and remote collaboration. Over-the-road mileage is expensed, and if traveling more than 3 hours, hotel expenses can be covered. The initial contract is for 12 months with the potential to transition to a permanent role. This is a Contract position based out of Oakland, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
