Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for planning and supervising a wide range of storage projects from start to finish. This role involves organizing and overseeing construction procedures to ensure timely and efficient project completion. The role also includes mentoring staff on client communications, budget reviews, job costing, and managing labor contracts. Responsibilities + Maintain a strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, verbiage, and equipment. + Manage and update the project budget and schedule on a weekly basis. + Review and negotiate bids with subcontractors. + Process subcontracts, subcontractor change orders, submittals, RFIs, change proposals, and owner change orders. + Conduct onsite meetings with clients, contractors, and labor teams. + Identify and respond to potential issues throughout the project to minimize negative impacts and ensure work safety. + Prepare and submit project billings and monthly cost projections to clients. + Support the quality control and punch list process. + Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. + Review and manage project managers' weekly tasks. + Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. + Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Good organization skills and work habits. + Strong spatial reasoning. + Problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency. + High aptitude for working with computer-based systems including Bluebeam, Adobe, Microsoft, and Apple. + Ability to multi-task. + Desire to be part of an effective team focused on serving customers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + NASCLA and other construction licenses are a plus. + Bilingual skills are a plus. + Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam. Work Environment The role reports out of the Winter Garden, FL office, with a hybrid schedule. The work environment involves frequent computer use and occasional travel outside the state for job site visits. The employee will need to sit, stand, walk, and use stairways within buildings, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Winter Garden, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr. Health, Dental Vision, 100% 401k match up to 5%, ESOP, PTO, Etc.
