**Description**
SAIC is seeking a **Project Manager** to support execution of the Coast Guard’s Digital Transformation Office initiatives in **Washington, DC.**
This role is responsible for managing planning, execution, and delivery of operational digital transformation pilots and enterprise modernization initiatives.
**This role will be hybrid after training with two days onsite in Washington, DC and three days flexwork.**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage day-to-day execution of digital transformation initiatives.
+ Develop integrated project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams including government, contractors, and field operators.
+ Track cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
+ Manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
+ Support delivery of:
+ Three initial operational transformation pilots
+ Up to 10 enterprise transformation projects
+ Establish standardized project management processes and templates.
+ Support governance, reporting, and executive briefings.
+ Coordinate with IT PM and technical leadership.
+ Support development of digital transformation implementation plans.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field and nine (9) years of project management experience.
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must possess an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
**Required Skils:**
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, SAFe)
+ **Experience applying SAFe methodologies in a federal program environment** , aligning Agile delivery with governance, compliance, and mission-driven outcomes.
+ Demonstrated experience leading transformation, modernization, or innovation initiatives
+ Experience with Project & Program Tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similarExperience managing federal IT or digital transformation programs.
+ Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall).
+ Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and organizations.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
**Desired Qualifications**
+ PMP or Agile certification preferred.
+ Experience supporting DHS or US Coast Guard programs.
+ Familiarity with digital engineering, MBSE, or DevSecOps environments.
+ Experience managing pilot programs transitioning to enterprise scale.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
