Job Description: Project Manager - M&A Integration
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid: 3-4 days in-office, Friday remote)
Duration: Approximately 1.5 years
W2 only, no sponsorship available
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the integration of a recent acquisition involving 18 power plants and a demand response business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project lifecycle for complex corporate integration project
- Coordinate across multiple departments and functions
- Develop and maintain project plans and status reports
- Manage project budgets and financial tracking
- Support Sox compliance efforts
- Collaborate with communications and change management teams
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and status meetings
- Ensure project deadlines and milestones are met
Required Skills:
+ Experience with mergers and acquisitions
+ Understanding of Sox controls
+ Experience with communications and change management teams
+ Strong project management experience
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Proven ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders
+ Time management and sense of urgency
+ Experience with project planning tools (Excel preferred, Microsoft Project a plus)
+ Ability to work in a corporate environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions
- Background in utility or corporate integration projects
- Experience managing complex, interdisciplinary projects
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: 3-4 days in Houston office
- No relocation support provided
