Our client is seeking a **Project Manager – Automation (RPA)**
to join their team.
**Role: Project Manager – Automation (RPA)**
**Location: Remote**
**Duration: 12 months**
**Job Description:**
- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
- Operating smaller budget projects.
- Lead developer check-in calls for project status updates.
- Update project management systems (primarily Jira) with up-to-date project status for leadership readouts.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure timely delivery of automation solutions.
- Support the expansion of automation capabilities beyond the Voyager ERP project.
- Coordinate multiple automation initiatives, including legacy automation conversions and new development.
**Skills/Experience:**
- 3–4+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a technical or automation-focused environment.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.
- Proficiency with Jira (minimum 2 years) – must understand downstream impacts of updates.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet – training can be provided if needed.
- Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a plus (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism).
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Basic knowledge of computer software such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL is a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers and business analysts.
- PMI or PMP certification a plus
