MAJOR FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the successful implementation and management of projects, with particular emphasis on leading and facilitating clinical and operational redesign initiatives to improve or maintain quality of care, patient experience, build supply chain efficiency, reduce cost, and clinical operational efficiency. Oversees multiple projects within the organization. Plans change management tasks required for the business to accept, adapt and support initiatives including effective communication, adequate training, and documentation.
This position is also responsible for managing complex projects, and creates project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, risk logs, issues logs, status reports, and performance metrics from concept through completion of the project. Implements impact analysis, tracking activities, maintenance, and evaluation of identified opportunities to standardize and onboard newly requested products or services along with proper documentation and communication. Works with clinical partners to identify and implement high-functioning supply chain solutions to enhance processes, reduce costs, standardization, and utilization, and maintaining or enhancing quality. Responsible for identifying savings opportunities, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to create business plans, ensuring systems requirements are met or exceeded, and generating cost savings and avoidance through effective systems management/integration. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of each project and ensures project documentation is accurate and complete. Develop, monitor, and report on project budgets, staffing resources, and deadlines. Identify and mitigate risks to the project’s success. Define, delegate, and oversee specific tasks related to a project. Facilitate internal and external meetings and develop supporting materials (slide decks, agendas, notes, action items, etc.) Support the team in developing deliverables, including written deliverables (e.g., narrative project descriptions, action plans, topic briefs, literature reviews, etc.). Individual must be able to source products, equipment, and services through both the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and from the market, coordinate evaluation of options with key stakeholders, and drive value for the organization. Represents supply chain on other network committees as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing degree, or related field preferred. Five years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.5 years of progressive Supply Chain management experience.
