**About the Role:**
As an Associate DirectorProject Management Retail Program Lead you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned high-profile client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. You will lead oversee and manage commercial interior renovation projects with responsibility for successful project delivery and may lead a small team.
This is not a remote position and requires someone within the Greater Portland area that will report to the client's offices as dictated by client requirements.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Oversee all phases of project management including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
+ Ensure that contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant.
+ Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expense monitoring and control, staffing, and full P&L to EBITDA.
+ Work cross-functionally with other business lines to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
+ Identify complex project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
+ Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
+ Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
+ Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
+ Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
**What you’ll need**
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Prior experience working with Retail Program Management highly desired.
+ Ability to Lead PMO initiatives as part of large retail and corporate program, with exposure across multiple regions and business lines.
+ Proven track record of developing and standardizing project governance, cost tracking, and risk management frameworks.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with MS Project or similar project management software.
+ Proven track record of leading multiple projects in varying stages simultaneously and the ability to deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments is preferred.
+ Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
